Connect with the local Chinese market through online campaigns

Brief 

Harvey Nichols is a renown retailer of luxury goods in the UK with an impressive and successful history. The Harvey Nichols in Birmingham was exploring better ways to connect with the Chinese market in the Midlands.

 

Under this guideline, Devoch was commissioned to create an online campaign as well as an event.

 

Solution

The 11th of November is the Chinese Single's Day, which is also a huge shopping festival for Chinese audiences. We have designed a bespoke shopping event for the Chinese customers with exclusive offers and gifts on the 10th November 2019. We work with local KOLs to deliver the news and drive an online campaign for two months.

 

 

Results

The posts concerning the information of the event have been viewed more than 2,000 times. An event with a planned crowd of 80 participants saw more than 120 on the day. The event successfully raised the awareness of Harvey Nichols among the Chinese customers, creating a database of followers for future promotions.
